We are less than a week away from the NBA playoffs and looking to capitalize on some cards before the tipoff of the play-in tourney tomorrow. Like we talked about last week, the Nets have been favorites in the East but with the Hawks getting De'Andre Hunter back, the performance of Bogdanovic, and playing impressive ball on their home court, we can see the Hawks turning some heads and making the NBA finals.
With that in mind, we have seen a steady dip in Trae Young's raw card prices over the last 90 days and see this as a perfect window to get in on some of his base rookie cards.
Optic continues to be one of the most underrated lines of cards and looks to be a good buy at $30 or less, but the price drop in his prizm and mosaic rookies show a larger price drop and buying opportunity if you have the coin to shell out.
A tougher find but best value for Trae Young, factoring in some scarcity you don't get with with optic base would be looking into his optic shock. This card was selling in February raw for about $75, but has been selling in the last 30 days for half the amount and more in some instances.
This week we are buying 2018 Trae Young Optic Shock raw cards for $35 or less.
